Coach BA RTC Noord H.G.Triemsta: Coming home in another dreamland of basketball
February 28th – March 6th Netherlands basketball academy RTC Noord was visiting Lithuania. Four teams spent seven days here in basketball country. During this time, Dutch played games, had practices with Lithuanian coaches, visited “Žalgiris” arena, wached Euroleague game and relaxed in pool.
Christmas Cup 2015 ‒ almost 400 young basketball players!
December 28th – 30th international youth basketball tournament „Christmas Cup 2015“ took place in Kaunas city. Almost 400 young basketball players came to Kaunas to find out what is the strongest in ther age group, to meet old and new friends.
Young basketball players from nine countries competed in „Kaunas Cup 2015“!
October 2nd – 4th basketball school „Tornado“ and sports events agency „Tstar“ organized annual international basketball tournament „Kaunas Cup 2015“. Twenty two teams played in three age groups (2000, 2002 and 2003). Fourteen teams were guests from foreign countries – Estonia, Belarus, Poland, Russia, Latvia, Denmark, Germany and Netherlands.
LF Future boys U16 team visited Lithuania
June 5th – 9th Swedish boys team LF Future U16 spent in Lithuania. During five days in our country, they played eight games, visited final Lithuanian Basketball league final game in Vilnius, enjoyed beach of Lampedziai, purchased Kaunas “Žalgiris” souvenirs and took a walk in Kaunas Old Town.
Coach of “Talent Camp” Kęstutis Naruševičius was elected as the best coach of NKL
Coaches of National Basketball League (NKL) elected the best players and coaches of season 2014/2015. After traditional survey, where all the fourteen head coached where participated, was clarified, all the nominants.
