March 22nd – 26th basketball team Sandvika (Norway) visited Kaunas. For friendly games before playoffs Sandvika BKK few years in a row choose Kaunas city.
In four days Norwegian guys played four games. Opponents became teams from Kaunas and Kėdainiai city. After one season hard work Sandvika BBK U19 came back to Lithuania more stronger and this year won three games! “We have been working a lot and not only at basketball court, but also with players thinking, – said coach of the team David Cox. – Guys have to come to practices and games with a huge desire and ready to fight! There were only few guys born in 1997, others were younger, but they proved they can play and win against older! All the stay was great – good hotel at the center of Kaunas, team tradition – “Thursday dinner eating lasagna! super seats at Euroleague game – guys return to Norway full of excitement and new experience. Hope to come back again next year!”.
